Don’t you have any idea for weekend? Do you want to discover something new?
Here’s the solution … Hemingway Museum and the Great War in Bassano del Grappa.
A nice day out, for a walk, helping to appreciate a piece of local and international history.
This exhibition is located at Villa Ca’ Erizzo Luca, on the east bank of Brenta River, that in 1918 was used by a section of the American Red Cross.
As volunteer in service there was Ernest Hemingway, in fact some of his stories take their cue from Ca ‘Erizzo events.
The Museum is open Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 am to 01:00 pm and from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm, instead from Tuesday to Friday is visible only for schools and groups by appointment.
Ticket costs € 5.00 (reduced € 3.00) so is easily accessible.
For the covered content I think it isn’t suitable for small children or otherwise under 13/14 years.
